PPI Systems Releases New Wireless Probe Card Design
(Ottawa, Ontario) Feb., 2024 PPI Systems is pleased to announce the release of our newly designed cable free wireless probe cards for RapiTrim laser resistor trimming systems. Past systems relied on wired connections to the top of the probe card PCB, now replaced in the new card design pogo clamp mechanism.
This new design was developed in conjunction with Accuprobe to reduce the time and difficulty of swapping probe cards during job changes. Operator changeover only involves a single lever to disengage each card, with no tools required or plugs to attach. As a result, setting up different jobs is very quick and easy. This new probe card option is part of PPI Systems’ continuous design improvement in its next generation RapiTrim resistor trimming systems, setting a new standard for resistor trimming.
